What's new at Mason & Hamlin?

July 14, 2009

Mason & Hamlin has added some exciting new features, options, a new model and even a new logo to its line of handcrafted pianos and piano accessories.

WNG repetition

Wessell, Nickel & Gross (WNG) High Performance Action Parts are now available as an upgrade option on all Mason & Hamlin piano models.  These brilliantly designed and manufactured parts are made using modern composite materials, providing unparalleled performance, longevity and strength.  With none of the inherent weaknesses of wood parts (shrinking, swelling, inconsistencies in weight and strength) the WNG composite parts provide a piano action that is uniform, easy to play and consistent from key to key. (See the Wessell, Nickel & Gross
website for details.)

Mason & Hamlin recently previewed a new Art Deco-style Piano, featuring a chrome plate and chrome hardware to accent its new look.  The new piano also features a more modern Mason & Hamlin logo (also in chrome) which has been enthusiastically accepted by its dealer network.

Mason & Hamlin has also added a Dual Artist Bench to its product lineup.  Crafted in leather and available in all Mason & Hamlin piano finishes, the bench is suitable for duet playing (one piano, four hands) and is available as an upgrade option on any Mason & Hamlin model or as a stand-alone product.

Mason & Hamlin is also offering new double casters with a braking system on the Model BB semi-concert grand.
